Girls Upset in Championship Game Against Drexel

The Lady Blackhawks steam rolled through the opening games of the 86th Annual Archie Tournament only to fall short of the championship losing  the title game to the underdog Drexel Bobcats 53-51.  Adrian fell behind early trailing 15-10 before storming back in the second quarter to lead at the half 25-22.   The Blackhawks outscored Drexel 12-11 in the third quarter but fell behind late in the fourth period.   Adrian was forced to foul and  Drexel was able to sink many of the free throw attempts and outlast the Blackhawks down the stretch.

"We played a well prepared Drexel team that wanted to win more than we did" said head coach Shaun Bruto.
