Homecoming week for the Adrian Blackhawks also included a home court volleyball match against the Appleton City Bulldogs. Adrian steam rolled through both games winning easily 25-11 and 25-14. The wins brought the Blackhawks record to 11-2 overall and 3-0 in WEMO conference play.
The highlight of the night was the team presenting Anna Walley commemorative ball for her 500+ career kills. Anna achieved the milestone a few matches prior but the school wanted to recognizer her achievement in front of a home crowd.
"The team looked really good tonight" said head coach Kelsi Robards. "Our offense looked about as good as it has all season. This was a busy week for us and I am very satisfied with how we performed. We have a big tournament coming up this weekend in Warrensburg and I am confident the team is ready to compete. A big congratulations to Anna Walley as she celebrated earning her 500th career kill. We are all very proud of her. "
