First up was a road trip to face the Butler Bears. Adrian won both games with ease by scores of 25-19 and 25-16.
"We were ready for this match" said head coach Kelsi Robards. "It's always fun to play Butler. They have a great team and it's always a battle. We knew that we were going to have to defend the ball well. We were prepared to put pressure on their offense and we were able to do that. This win will help give us the momentum we need to go into a busy schedule next week."
