The Adrian Blackhawks varsity boys basketball team raced out to a huge halftime lead and held on to beat the Windsor Greyhounds 53-40 to open the 2016-2017 season. Led my Logan Harris's 25 points and Dylan Novovesky's rebounds Adrian was in control early on and the outcome was never in doubt.
"We played well for a half" said head coach Tyson Basehor "but we struggled to finish out the game." Adrian was up 32-14 at the half but were outscored in the second half to make the game appear closer than it really was.
