Tyler Womelduff is named Outstanding Senior
in Cass Career Center's CSI Program.
Tyler's CSI teacher at Cass Career Center, Chandra Kelly, shared the backstory about his admission into the CSI program. "The first time I met Tyler was at Meet the Teacher Night prior to school starting. Tyler and his mother were looking for a class at the Cass Career Center because the original class Tyler wanted to take was canceled. I explained to Tyler my class required a lot of participation and if he was not willing to do the work he should not take it. I did not hear anything else about Tyler after that night until he showed up for class on August 18th." Tyler's hard work and determination to do his best showed every single day. Ms. Kelly said, "Since day one Tyler has been one of the best students in my afternoon class. Tyler is a great teammate and is always the first one to step up when a classmate or I need help. Tyler is a great student and is an even better man. Tyler will do great at whatever he chooses to do in life and I look forward to seeing what his future holds. Thank you for allowing such a great student to come to the CCC, he has represented Adrian High School well."
Presenting the award to Tyler at Cass Career Center was Adrian Assistant Principal Jeanette Baker (pictured below). After speaking with both Mrs. Baker and Principal Abe Lewis, it's very evident that they are happy for Tyler and couldn't be more proud of his efforts! They fully agree with Ms. Kelly's words about Tyler's character and his success in future endeavors.
The Pride of the Blackhawks shines bright in so many ways, and Tyler has shown us yet again that IT'S A GREAT DAY TO BE A BLACKHAWK!
