T.E.A.M.S - Nationals Bound!

And the Blackhawks are off!!  Nationals bound!!

The Adrian T.E.A.M.S (Tests of Engineering, Aptitude, Mathematics and Science) group of high school students and Sponsors Matt Sears and Lesli Lame left Adrian today for Nationals in Orlando, FL.  Adrian T.E.A.M.S. is headed into nationals ranked 5th in the nation!!!  This is a big deal for our Blackhawks!!!

At Nationals, students will have to complete an additional essay, prepare an oral presentation accompanied with a poster, and will work as a team to answer an engineering problem that is accompanied by additional math and science questions.

Four Blackhawks are competing in the National TSA Convention as well.  Sponsor Matt Sears said, "In addition to the T.E.A.M.S competition, two of the T.E.A.M.S. kids, Dylon Piveral and Mary Wood, as well as Emilea Dines and Robert Reese, will be competing at the National TSA Convention.  Robert will also be running for a national office.  I'll send pics and details (to Adrian News Leader) as that develops."  Good luck, Robert!
