The annual football banquet was held Wednesday evening in the Adrian High School commons area. The meeting allowed a retrospective glance on a very memorable season.
Adrian finished the season 11-2 on the year. The season ended at the hands of Lincoln in the quarterfinal round of the high school championship bracket. Lincoln would end up finishing the season as the runner-up losing to Hayti in the Class 1 championship game.
It was a very good season for the seniors and a great end to their high school career. This year's senior class went 21-4 their last two years. It was the best stretch for Blackhawk football in roughly a decade.
Team honors were handed out as well. the winners are listed below.
MVP - James Keating
Hustle Award - Gavin Reed
Most Improved - Noah Koehler
Best Lineman - Anson Johnson
Best Back - Cameron Tallman
Hit Stick - Cameron Tallman
Most Defensive Points - James Keating
