The Blackhawks open WEMO action tomorrow night at home against the Drexel Bobcats. Kickoff is set for 7:00.
Adrian took it on the chin last week falling to the Butler Bears 14-32. The Blackhawks ran the ball well against Butler but also had trouble stopping the run.
This may not bode well facing the Bobcats who are coming off a 58-56 victory over the Appleton City Bulldogs. In that game Drexel ran, pretty much, at will against the Bulldogs.
Adrian ran well against Butler but, in turn, didn't do much to stop the Bears from doing the same--and then some to them. Drexel may have run the ball at will but they could not do much against the Bulldog passing game.
Both teams will have to find a way to shore up defensive weaknesses if they want to come out victorious. For Adrian that may come at the hands of a team more fired up this week to help them forget about a miserable start to the season.
