The Adrian Blackhawks volleyball team opened conference action with a big road win over the Midway Vikings Tuesday, September 15th. Adrian won by the first game 25-20 before dropping the second game 24-26. The Blackhawks put the match away with a very convincing third game score of 25-16.
Adrian's season record stands at 19-8 game record, 9-2-1 match record and 1-0 in conference play.
"This was a huge conference win for us" said Head Coach Kelsi Robards. "We played very well on both sides of the ball. Defensively we have been strong and it played a huge role in our success tonight. This was a long match and I'm very proud of the girls for finding a way to get the win."
