The Adrian Blackhawks varsity volleyball team came home September 14th with an impressive road trip to Lamar. The team defeated the Lamar Tigers in straight sets 25-17 and 25-23.
"I'm very proud of how the girls performed tonight," said Head Coach Kelsi Robards. "We played very well the first set. We dug ourselves a pretty deep hole the second set but managed to find a way out and win the match in two sets. This gives us some momentum going into our first conference match of the season with Midway,"

Adrian opens conference action when they travel to Midway to take on the Vikings. The varsity action will take place after the middle school and junior varsity matches. Middle school matches start at 5:30 with the junior varsity and varsity games to follow.
