The Adrian Blackhawk wrestling team represented the school district very well as witnessed by former teacher and coach of the Blackhawks, Bob Neely. These boys didn't know that they were man observed which goes to show their character. It was great to hear such good things about our student athletes.
"I wanted to post about something I saw earlier today. I was in the big town of Kearney - saw a bunch of kids and a couple of adults getting off a bus. The kids all acted older than teenagers - they were all going into a hotel in orderly fashion - so, I looked to see where the bus was from -- it said, Adrian -- guess they must be going to District wrestling later today - anyway, it was so cool to see people conducting themselves with dignity and class -- nice job coaches, and athletes (and parents)!!"
