The top seeded Lady Blackhawks handled a pretty good Rich Hill Tigers ball club January 28th to move on to the championship game of the 86th Annual Archie Tournament. Adrian defeated Rich Hill by the score of 54-32.
Adrian led 52-19 after three quarters. A large lead like that allowed head coach Shaun Bruto to bring in the younger players to get playing time. Adrian was outscored the final frame but the entire team got to take part in the game.
"The girls came out ready to play" said Bruto. "We did a great job of moving the ball around and we shot well from the outside."
