The Blackhawks traveled to Stockton High School for the Solo/Small Ensemble Music Contest this weekend. Their hours of practice with the highly respected Music Director Lauren Moravec paid off because the Blackhawks came home with six II ratings and two I ratings! Those earning a I rating will advance to the State Music Contest. Moravec said, "I couldn't be more proud of my kids!" Adrian Middle/High School Teacher Gwen Ford traveled with the Blackhawks. She has been a loyal, dedicated accompanist this year and Moravec appreciates her efforts. "A big thank you to our fabulous accompanist who not only puts up with me but strives to help these kids be better musicians!"
