Head Coach Kelsi Robards enters her 9th year coaching volleyball, her sixth at Adrian. She will be assisted by Megan Johnson. Robards brings back the majority of a team that finished with a stellar 25-4-1 record last year and undefeated WEMO conference Champs. Last year the team took 1st place at the Midway tournament, 2nd place at the Holden Tournament and 3rd place in the WEMO tournament.
This year's squad has five returning players led by seniors Bailey Reed, Lauren Shipley and Anna Walley. They also return some experienced younger lettermen with Kerigan Wimsatt and Elise Reynolds. Other returning players include Remi Pittman, and Payton Ritter. New to the varsity squad is freshman Jenna Shipley. Having a wealth of talent returning helps lessen the blow of losing Malory Moles to graduation.
"With five returning players from last year's squad, our experience on the floor and knowledge of the game are our true strengths" said Robards. When asked to list the teams weakness she added "Defense is an area were we could see the most improvement."
Offense/defense this season: We will be running a 5-1 offense this season.
