The Lady Blackhawks continue to steam roll through the their volleyball schedule with a win in their WEMO conference opener against Archie. Adrian traveled north five miles to take on the Whirlwinds. Adrian won the first set easily by the score of 25-14. The second set was a lot closer but the girls came out on top 25-21.
"We played really well the first set" said head coach Kelsi Robards. "We were able to run our offense and our defense looked great. We struggled keeping our errors to a minimum the second set. This was the beginning of conference play so every game here on out is very important. We have to find a way to be consistent with our game."
Adrian's record now stands at 9-2 with a conference record of 1-0.
