Adrian hosted the Midway Vikings October 6th on Senior Night. It was also the team's annual Pink Out night benefitting the American Cancer Society.
Midway was the toughest team in conference that Adrian had faced all season but the Blackhawks defeated them in straight sets. With the win the girls put the final touches on an undefeated WEMO Conference regular season championship. Adrian defeated each of their opponents in straight sets having never really been challenged in any of them.
Coach's comments: "This was a huge win for us. We have been anticipating this match for quite some time. We knew it would be tough and most likely a conference title deciding match. We played well both offensively and defensively. Our serving was a huge factor in our win. We were able to place the ball well and get runs off our serves. I'm so proud of this team. The girls deserve to be conference champs."
