AJH wrestling off to an impressive start!

After just two weeks of practice, the AJH wrestlers finished strong in their first meet of the season on Saturday, November 12, 2016.  Sixteen schools participated in the Columbus, KS meet and the AJH team took 4th overall!  Hard work and determination paid off big!  What an exciting way to begin the season for these new and returning wrestlers!

Individual accomplishments include two champs, and silver and bronze medals.  Huge kudos to 8th graders Cole Ritter and Ryan Patterson, who claimed 1st place in their weight classes.  Bringing home the silver with a 2nd place finish was Trevor Thompson (8th grade).  In third and earning a bronze medal was 8th grader Baxter Lowe.
