The Adrian Blackhawks varsity girls basketball team opened the season against the Windsor Greyhounds November 21st in Windsor. They scored all the points needed for victory in the first half and cruised to a 63-34 victory.
"This was a good win to start the 2016/2017 season" said head coach Shaun Bruto.
Adrian shot 20 of 56 from the field for a 36% average. they were 17 of 22 from the free throw line for 77% average.
