Lady Blackhawks Top Sherwood in Milestone Game

and the Lady Blackhawks congratulate Bailey Reed for scoring her 1,000th point.

The Lady Blackhawks traveled to Sherwood to take on the Marksmen in varsity basketball action Monday night. The game featured a player hitting a major scoring milestone when Bailey Reed connected on a three point shot in the third period.

Adrian built a 24-point lead in three periods of action. The fourth period was spent making sure other members of the team got playing time. The Blackhawks won 57-47, giving the appearance of a closer game than it actually was.

The team improves its record to 10-1 heading into conference play. The Lady Blackhawks face off with the Archie Whirlwinds Friday night during Courtwarming activities.
