Lauren Shipley breaks two school records in track.
Lauren Shipley, senior, broke not just one but TWO school records at the Knob Noster track meet on April 25, 2017! She nailed the High Jump with a jump of 5'3.25". She ran her heart out in the 800 M Run with a winning time of 2:24.12.
Lauren is a talented athlete and we've been blessed to watch her for six years in JH and HS athletics. Sure some of it is natural talent, but Lauren works hard and is focused on doing her best. Whether Lauren realizes it or not, she's a role model and an inspiration for younger Blackhawks.
