9/11 Memorial Ceremony today in Adrian

On Monday evening 09-11-2017 The Adrian Volunteer Fire Department along with the help and support from several agencies and friends, will be conducting a memorial procession with a program to follow to remember the lives of so many that were so cowardly taken from us on September 11, 2001. The attacks on 9-11 took the lives of many innocent people who are just like you and I. They left for work that morning and had evening plans with their families when they returned home. Sadly, many did not return home. As emergency responders we all know that the next call could be our last call. It is up to us to continue our mission in public safety in honor of our brothers & sisters who paid the ultimate sacrifice and gave of themselves to protect others. Please join with us again this year in paying our respects to the fallen and to their families, for they have suffered a great loss.

5:00 pm - 5:45 pm             Line Up at 1st & Clark Street

5:45 pm                                The procession will start and be on Main Street around 6:00 pm

6:45 pm                                The program will start at the Adrian Optimist Community Center

Thanks in advance to all emergency responders and to our citizens who come out and show your support each year. We look forward to seeing you at the Community Center so we can personally thank you for giving of your time and supporting a very worthwhile event.

Law enforcement is under attack now more than ever, please support all police officers. Wearing or posting a blue ribbon is a visual way of showing support if you so choose.
