Above is a link to PrepsKC, an excellent site that covers high school sports in the Kansas City area. Each week they publish the state rankings in football. Today Adrian shows getting one vote for the first time this season. It's not much but it's at least some recognition for being undefeated this late in the season.
Adrian hasn't been slighted despite not getting votes until now. If you look at the teams above them you will see several perfect records and teams with established history with one loss. Sometimes it's good to play with a chip on your shoulder but it's also nice to be recognized for a great season!
