Student Organizations present to R-III School Board

At the Adrian R-III Board of Education meeting on Thursday, March 21, 2019, FCCLA officers and members of the Speech, Debate and Drama team gave presentations to the school board about their respective organizations.  The winter weather was a hindrance for these organizations but it didn't stop them from doing awesome things!

Four of the Speech, Debate and Drama team members gave a presentation about their growing organization, sponsored by Rachel Coffelt-Ferrell.  They have hosted a competition and participated in competitions.  Some of the competition results and other details are below.

Students shared what they are gaining from this organization.  A few things include:  Self-Confidence, becoming more comfortable speaking in front of people, developing a wide-range of skills, and more.

Under the sponsorship of Elizabeth DiLillo, FCCLA has more than doubled in membership this school year.  JonHenry Jackson, pictured above, is this year's FCCLA President.  This organization is full of civic-minded students who have organized and led charitable fundraising events and volunteer projects.  They have participated in a variety of other things as well, including some that are listed below.
