Hunter Steen and Collin Lybarger, AHS Class of 2019, were selected to play in the Lions All-Star Basketball game on June 8, 2019 at Higginsville High School. Representing the Adrian Lions Club, Steen and Lybarger suited up and took the court one last time for the Blackhawks. Being selected to play in the All-Star Game is a big deal, and it was even bigger for Steen and Lybarger as Adrian Head Basketball Coach Tyson Basore was selected to coach, along with Assistant Coach Greg Sewell! Adding to that, Adrian grad and Blackhawks basketball star Eric Moles, Head Basketball Coach for Rich Hill, coached, too. Coach Basore said the boys scored more than 10 points each in the game. Lybarger, who nailed 3-pointer after 3-pointer for the Blackhawks, won the 3-point contest, making 19 of 25 shots!
CONGRATULATIONS, BLACKHAWKS!!
