Blackhawk Volleyball Team Off to a Fast Start; Breaking Records

The Adrian Blackhawks Volleyball team currently has a 7-3-2 record as of Tuesday September 24th. Early losses came at the hands of Clinton, Crest Ridge and Harrisonville in their tournament. Adrian avenged their loss to Harrisonville in tournament play by defeating them in straight sets at Adrian.
More recently Adrian dropped the opening set to Butler in a rivalry game but took the last two games to claim victory.
In the Butler game senior, Jenna Shipley, was recognized for breaking Anna Walley’s career record set in 2016. Jenna broke the record during the WEMO Conference tournament.

Comments on WEMO Tournament:

I thought we played really well today. We fixed some of the issues we were having last week and it was nice to see them focused on doing better in the areas where we needed improvement. We have a tough week coming up with Harrisonville and Butler. We needed to play well today to give us some confidence going into next week.
