Adrian JH and JV Football Teams Exact Revenge on the Midway Vikings.

The Adrian Blackhawks junior high and junior varsity football teams hosted the Midway Vikings out at the complex Tuesday night.    Adrian was able to avenge Friday's high school defeat at the hands of the Vikings by beating Midway in both match-ups.
The junior high team took the field first.    After a slow start to the game where many of the players were seeing their first non-little league action Adrian turned on the pressure and won the game in convincing fashion 38-0.

The junior varsity team looked sharp beating the Midway Vikings 16-0.    Adrian scored first on a passing touchdown from Hunter Steen to John Henry Jackson.  Steen was found paydirt on the two point conversion.   Steen added another touchdown pass in the second quarter.   This one to Tanner Pitts.   The two point conversion attempt by Steen fell just short of the goal line.   The Blackhawks were "gifted" the two points when the Vikings called time out with less than a  second on the clock.   On their own 12 yard line the ensuing snap sailed over the quarterback's head into the end zone where it was downed.    Adrian led 16-0 at the half.    Neither team scored in the second half.
Adrian emerged victorious in both games and did not surrender a single touchdown.

The future, Blackhawks fans, is bright.
