Junior High Volleyball is Conference Champs

Adrian Junior High Volleyball is conference champs!

The Adrian Blackhawk Junior High volleyball team is conference champs after defeating Lakeland 25-8 and 25-14  then defeated Archie 25-22 and 25-14 before squaring off with Osceola in the championship match.
Osceola won the first game 25-21.   To win the championship Adrian would have to come from behind against a very good Indian team.   The Blackhawks would do just that winning the second game 25-21 and dominated the deciding game 25-14 to bring home the trophy.

"The week prior to the tournament was a busy one with 3 games scheduled," said JH volleyball coach Brenna Tallman.  "We came in to the Conference tournament with the target on our backs and we knew that it wasn't going to be easy. Archie and Osceola gave us a great fight. Luckily we kept our cool and continued to play together as a team. The way they were talking and moving was better than I've ever seen them play all season. The championship game was played just as a championship game should be played, intense and with great sportsmanship."
