The Adrian Blackhawks girls basketball team made the trip to Deepwater, MO January 8th to take on the Lady Vikings and came home victorious in a lopsided score.
Adrian came out on fire and doubled up Lakeland 16-8 in the opening period. They outscored the Vikings in every quarter and finished with a 44-30 victory. The game was the first conference game of the season. The Blackhawks have a 10-1 record on the season with a conference record of 1-0.
"It's always good to get a victory against a well coached team especially when you don't shoot the ball well" said head coach Shaun Bruto.
