Girls Basketball Action vs.El Dorado Springs, Lone Jack, and Clinton

The girls basketball team battled back from an 11 point first quarter deficit to pull within 4pts of a very good El Dorado Springs girls squad.  The final score was 49-53.  "Trailing by a big deficit early our girls never gave up and worked their way back into a close ball game by giving more of a defensive effort and finishing on the offensive end in the second half" said Head Coach Shaun Bruto.

1/2/2015  Clinton Cardinals

The Adrian basketball teams took part in the Lotspeich Automotive Central Missouri Shootout on January 2nd.  The teams were matched up against the Clinton Cardinals.    The girls went into half time with a five point lead.  they were outscored by that margin in the third quarter  and and ended regulation tied 47-47.  In overtime it was all Adrian with the final margin of victory being the same as it was at halftime.   The Blackhawks came out victorious 55-50.   "After a long Christmas break we started the second half of our season playing a very competitive Clinton team.  Clinton made us make strong defensive stand against their big inside game.
