The Lady Blackhawks came out on fire in their first action since losing in the championship game of the Archie Tournament. Adrian defeated the Archie Whirlwinds 55-23. The ladies shot lights out and played aggressive defense. The scored all the points they would need in the first quarter of play. The Blackhawks led 25-4 after one and 42-13 at the half. The starters sat the better part of the second half allowing the to remain rested for their games later in the week against the Midway Vikings and Appleton City Bulldogs.
Despite extra time on the bench Bailey Reed managed to lead all scorers with 16 points. Sheldon Tallman and Lauren Shipley each had four rebounds to lead the team. Malory Moles and Anna Walley each had five steals. Moles led the team with six assists in the game.
Adrian improved their season record to 16-2 on the year and remain unbeaten in conference play.
