Lady Blackhawks Pound the Lady Bulldogs

The varsity girls had little opposition against the Lady Bulldogs of Appleton City.  The girls scored all the points needed to win the game in the first quarter and won 45-13.  The bench saw extended playing time with similar results when they were in the game.

A tip of the cap goes to Sheldon Tallman in this game.   Sheldon is known for her relentless stalking of the opposition's ball handler.  Her defense forces many turnovers that turn into points for for the team.   Outside of steals (which she often leads the team in stats) her level of play can be lost if you just look at the numbers.   In this game, however, Tallman cracked the leaderboard for points scored in the game and free throws.  She was two-for-two from the charity stripe.

The Adrian girls team improved to 18-2 overall and 5-0 in conference play.
