Girls take 2nd at the Adrian Invitational Track Meet

The Lady Blackhawks track team took 2nd out of 21 teams in Adrian on Thursday, April 14.  Head Coach Matt Cochran said, "Finishing second of 21 teams with seven girls is pretty impressive. There were some PB’s today:  Lauren Shipley in the 100M hurdles, 300M hurdles, and the 400M; Camryn Pruitt in the discus and javelin; Sara Geringer in the shot put; Maly Sears in the 800M; and Sonya Walsh in the 400M. Good job today.”

Individual Results:
100 Meters: Bailey Reed 13.87 6th place; Sonya Walsh 15.32

400 Meters: Lauren Shipley 1:01.75 3rd place; Sonya Walsh 1:11.00

800 Meters: Maly Sears 2:55.42 6th place

1600 Meters: Maly Sears 6:59 8th place

100 M Hurdles: Lauren Shipley 16.40 1st place

300 M Hurdles: Lauren Shipley 47.56 1st place

High Jump: Lauren Shipley 5’ 2” 2nd place

Long Jump: Bailey Reed 15’ 9.25” 1st place

Triple Jump: Bailey Reed 31’ 4” 3rd place

Pole Vault: Bailey Reed 8’ 6” 1st place

Shot Put: Sara Geringer 27’ 7”
