We are saddened and horrified that Officer Gary Michael has been taken from his family, his department and his community. His life cut short by the act of a cowardly and evil man. As we search for his killer, we are all reminded of what a good person Gary was and how much he cared about his family and the City of Clinton. We are reminded of his gentle way and how easily he smiled. We have all lost something on this day. Our police department and our community and Gary's family will never be the same. We are very appreciative of the overwhelming support that has been show to local law enforcement. We ask that you continue to support us and to lift up Gary and his family in prayer. Please remember the sacrifice that was made on behalf of our community by Gary and his family.
