Cheer Tryouts at Missouri State for AHS Cheerleader Kate Bunch!
Kate Bunch has been an exceptional flyer with AHS cheer. She has wowed us all with her talent and Blackhawk Pride. Instead of going on the senior trip to Dallas, Kate took her cheer skills to Missouri State in Springfield to tryout out for collegiate cheer. She fell short of making the squad, but she gained tons of knowledge on what to expect for next year's tryouts. There's no doubt she'll keep up the hard work!
Christie Bunch, Kate's Mom, shared these sentiments on her Facebook page. "This. girl. When she gets some fire in her belly, just stand back. This experience was not only great for her but a little lesson for me, as well. 
😉 So proud of her stepping out of her comfort zone and going for it. She busted her butt practicing tumbling moves that she hadn’t done before, being thrown in the air and caught by her feet (without her faithful squad
😬)and missed her Senior trip. While she didn’t make the squad, she definitely came away with sooo much more! Way to go girl. You got this next chapter in your sights."
