Shipley reaches 500 kills in volleyball!

Junior Jenna Shipley has been an exceptional teammate for the Lady Blackhawks volleyball team since her freshman year.  She is a talented athlete who works hard to improve her skills.  Jenna is an encourager on the court and has great sportsmanship.  This week, Jenna hit a big milestone in Blackhawks volleyball.  In the game at El Dorado on Tuesday, October 15, she reached 500 kills!  The current record is held by Anna Walley, AHS Class of 2017.  Anna's record stands at 664 kills.  Tonight Jenna was honored for this accomplishment on her home court.  She was presented with a ball by Head Coach Kelsi Robards.
Congratulations, Jenna!

Jenna's family made a sign for her and captured her 500th kill.  Thanks for sharing these photos!
