Adrian Boys Basketball Extends Record to 11-0 After Big Win at Drexel

The Blackhawks varsity boys basketball team traveled to Drexel Tuesday evening to take on the Bobcats.  Adrian left the game on the good side of a 70-33 blowout which moved their record to 11-0 overall and 2-0 in the WEMO Conference.
The boys got up early and never let off the throttle outscoring Drexel in every quarter.  Adrian had three players scoring in double figures.   Collin Lybarger led the way with 17 points.  Hunter Steen had 12 points and Dakota Harris bucketed 10.
Leading rebounders were Cameron Tallman with 5 and Kyler Six with 4.  Hunter Steen led the team in assists with 6.
The Blackhawks did a decent job protecting the ball turning over just 10 times in the ballgame.  They were just above 50% shooting from the field (23/42) but shot 70% from the free throw line.
Adrian enters Courtwarming week undefeated and ranked 9th in the recent Missouri Basketball Coaches Association basketball poll.  The poll is selected by a panel of coaches representing each of the 8 MBCA districts and each of the five Missouri basketball classes.  Adrian hosts the Cass Midway Vikings Friday night.

I was not able to attend the game so my apologies for not having a game picture to post with the story.
