ANSON JOHNSON
Anson Johnson will wear the black and gold of Adrian one more time in his final high school football game. Johnson will take the field at the University of Central Missouri (UCM) to represent the Blackhawks in the 2019 Missouri Lions All-Star Football Game this Saturday, July 20, 2019. James Keating was also selected to represent the Blackhawks. Keating has started his military career and is not available to play. Several WEMO Conference football players will see action in the Lions Game: Anson Johnson, Adrian; Gage Lemler, Archie; Xavier Mendoza, Midway; and Josh Yahnig, Midway.
The game begins at 7:00pm at the UCM Walton Stadium, Kennedy Field, in Warrensburg, MO. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students ages six years old - college. Children 5 and under are free.
Travel to Warrensburg, Blackhawks, and cheer on Anson Johnson! Good luck, Anson!
