The Adrian Blackhawks will have some new faces to the starting squad this year with the graduation of four girls from last year's 27-6-3 team that swept the WEMO conference with a 9-0 record. Players lost to graduation were Jessi Baker, Makenna Hummel, Emma Lincoln, and Jenna Shipley. That's a very talented core of players but this team is also returning several starters including Braylen Ford, Jade Parks, Jocelyn Reynolds, and Kendal Wimsatt.
This year's strengths include leadership, enthusiasm for the game and knowledge of the sport. Any perceived weakness may be inexperience at some positions. The team will play a 6-2 offense with a combination of man up and rotational defense.
Kelsi Robards is entering her 10th year coaching the Lady Blackhawks Volleyball team and 12th overall. She will be assisted by Bailey Morris and Jennie Jaynes.

Coaches comments:
This group is working very hard to fill some tough spots that were lost to graduation. We have several girls that are playing new positions but are adapting very quickly. I am anxious to see how this team performs this season.
